The OUT AT SEA OPERATION FLOATING AXIAL FLOW PUMP has multiple applications, this novel version allows to solve pumping needs in places where the dynamics of the coasts make it impossible to use excavated channels and reefs |
The OUT AT SEA OPERATION FLOATING AXIAL FLOW PUMP is a unique equipment, a complete and integrated pumping unit designed for continuous operation and capable of handling great flows.
The OUT AT SEA OPERATION FLOATING AXIAL FLOW PUMP may be installed and set to operate in a short period of time without the need of civil constructions required by similar or smaller flow pumps. |

The ETEC Floating Axial Flow Pump is constructed with the dimensions of a container to serve as a transportation module and to protect the pump elements during its operation
Floatation is guaranteed by a fiber glass float and a submerged motor compartment injected with polyurethane. The motor compartment is equipped with an electric and automatic pump.
The motor compartment has hatches for maintenance and funnel chimneys with mechanical fans to assure the correct operation temperature. The access hatches are designed to avoid the entrance of water in case of a strong rush of waves.

Pump body fabricated with marine ASTM-131 Grade-A 3/8” steel plates. the assembly is made with welding under ASME norms.
Intake is protected by a trash control screen.
Stainless steel wear-protection ring with electrolytic isolation avoiding wear on the pump's surface next to the impeller.
The Impeller is fabricated with cast profile 304 stainless steel blades.
"Keel Cooler" heat exchanger involved in the coil trash screen system with type schedule 40. metallic pipes.
Sliding skate to facilitate its launching to the sea.
