Hidrotec pump is a versatile unit designed to be operated with agricultural tractors. It is taken to the places where drainage is required.

The pump can be installed in drainage structures built for this purpose or coupled directly to a pipe. The modular components allow the coupling in alternate configurations though the use of flanges.

 

Most shrimp farms are located in low and flat zones where drainage isn't adequate, the fast evacuation of water during harvests is interrupted by high tides or saturation of drainage channels during heavy rains.

The HIDROTEC PUMP allows the aquacultor to harvest even during the high tides or saturated drainage channels. The harvest may continue normally as the pump is installed and operated at the exit slots:

The final quality of the shrimp and profit of the harvest depend greatly on the speed and the flow of water in the shrimp pond during harvest and drainage. If the ponds at the farm may not be drained adequately or react on time to emergency situations, the shrimp is needlessly risked.

1. Crane hitched to the "three points" of a tractor; the crane supports the pump for its installation and transportation.
2. Pump impeller made of Marine Stainless Steel, and also cast profiled stainless steel blades, fixed to the center
 
3. The discharge is controlled by a flap gate made in fiberglass, avoiding water to return once the pumping has been suspended.

Applications in Agriculture:
Most agricultural crops are highly sensitive to excess of water caused by rains or inefficient drainage systems, which cause great loses of crops due to overhydration.The solution is to have the pumping capacity to rapidly evacuate the water from the crop areas.

The design of the HIDROTEC PUMP permits several installation alternatives. By being a mobile equipment, the pump is taken to the work area only when needed, being easily installed and withdrawn.
